Breaking
Section navigation, held confirmations, approver quorum and a console craft pass (#225) (57403589)
- fix(clusters): clear the credentials message once both fields are filled
The message about a username without a password stayed on the username after the password was filled in, until the operator deleted a character and typed it again: validation on blur checks only the field that was left. A pair of fields (management and Core credentials, a new password and its confirmation) is now checked again whenever either member changes, and the message sits on the member that is missing, saying what to do.
- feat(ui): drop the empty sidebar on pages outside a cluster and lead back to the cluster
Administration, the inbox, the account page and approvals no longer show a sidebar that held only a cluster picker. A line above the page says where you are and offers "Back to <cluster> · <view>", returning to the exact view and filters you left; the header brand goes there too. With no previous place it offers to open a cluster.
- fix(ui): left-align section navigation and keep the page still when switching sections
Settings and Administration share one navigation component. Rows and group headings sit on the same start edge, every row is a full-width link with hover, focus and open states and aria-current="page", long labels truncate with a tooltip, and the list scrolls with sticky headings when it is taller than the window. Switching section no longer jumps the page to the top or flashes a spinner: the scroll is kept, the section's height is held, loading frames fade in after a short wait, and a section's code is loaded when the pointer reaches its link. A search or filter change on any page keeps the scroll too.
The sections are links now, not ARIA tabs.
- feat(brokerconfig)!: split Configuration into sections
Configuration no longer puts every section of a declaration on one long tab. A list beside the page names its sections under Declaration (addresses and queues, address settings, security settings, diverts, bridges), Nodes (live nodes) and Changes (history, recommended); each entry shows how many items it declares and, with a mark and in words, how many differ on a node.
The address changed:
?tab=now names the section (addresses, addressSettings, securitySettings, diverts, bridges, nodes, history, recommended), and an open editor is?item=<name>or?add=truein that section. Thesectionvalue and thedeclaredtab are gone, so saved links to them open the first section.- feat(ui)!: confirm destructive actions by pressing and holding
Typing a resource's name to arm a destructive action is gone. Every confirmation with a danger tone now uses a button that fills with red while it is held, and acts only when it is full: a click, a double click or a key let go early does nothing, the fill drains, and the hint under the button says how to confirm. It is held with the mouse, a finger or a pen, or with Space or Enter. The button names the action and its count, such as "Delete 37 queues", and the dialog's focus starts on Cancel. The hold's length is the --as-hold-duration token (1.5 s).
