  The scan returns an empty result instead of null, and a text that never names a major.minor stays unknown. Setting names still split on a comma.

• Read a release and setting names without a backtracking pattern (2dd36005)

  A cluster release is the first major.minor in the text the cluster reports. A list of setting names splits on a comma, with the spaces around that comma left out.
